Hartford, Connecticut— Trinity College was locked down for precautionary measures by the authorities after a 21-year-old psychopath man from North Stonington, killed himself near the campus. An armed man, who robbed McDonald’s at Hartford and then turned towards campus, was expected to enter the campus. The Trinity College campus was locked down almost at 7 p.m. on Thursday and all the students were advised to stay inside.
According to police statement, a shot was fired when police dogs directed woods to find someone here after indication of a thermal imaging camera. Police stopped further operation and Hartford police Emergency Response Team was called immediately. The man after robbing McDonald’s on Flatbush Avenue tried to escape from police before shooting himself.
College authorities and students received a message via e-mail and campus security also warned them that a suspected armed person was seen near the campus. Dean of students Frederick Alford said they received a message that said the man is a Caucasian wearing a white color shirt, brown pants and he was without shoes. It is being suspected that the man has some affiliation with Trinity.
Reportedly the man belongs to North Stonington was 21-year-old,had left a message showing that he was disturbed and pointing his plans to commit a burglary and afterward will commit suicide.
